Hi, I'm Dave. I enjoy helping students improve, learn new skills and make music! I've been teaching in Aberdeenshire for 15 years, and combine enthusiasm for sharing knowledge and experience, with a genuine desire to help each student progress at their own pace.
My lessons focus on each student's favourite musical styles and goals - there is no one-size-fits-all approach - whether you're an aspiring young Ed Sheeran, a retired rocker, or a budding bluesman or woman, I'm ready to help!

My experience and qualifications include:
LCM Diploma in Guitar Teaching (DipLCM TD)
RSL Electric Guitar Grade 8 (Distinction)
LCM Acoustic Guitar Grade 8 (Distinction)
Active performer - lead guitarist with Scottish function band The Limit, I also currently play in a blues band, a jazz duo, a gypsy jazz quartet, and am involved in a variety of recording projects
100% pass rate for students in all exams, incuding LCM, Trinity and RSL
